All Saints Sunday, November 2: If you have a family member or friend that has passed away in 2025, please let Kristin know before Tuesday, October 28th to be included in the prayers. Please bring a small picture of your loved ones who are no longer with us (no bigger than a 5x7) to worship with you that day. We will be doing something special to honor them on All Saints Sunday.
"Dinner At Vinnies" service opportunity is Tuesday, November 11th from 4:30-6:30pm at the St Vincent DePaul Dining Hall at the Weigand Center downtown. Come and share Tabor’s gracious and loving hospitality with our hungry neighbors living on the streets. We always have room for more volunteers! Please see Casey White if you have any questions. (Plan ahead for December 9th.)
OAKS will be meeting for lunch and fellowship on Tuesday, November 18th at noon. Let Pastor Christine know if you plan on attending at 801-215-9208.Come join us for fellowship and fun!
Senior Food Box Distribution Our distribution of USDA food boxes to seniors in our neighborhood continues with our next distribution set for Wednesday, November 19. These boxes are available for those who meet eligibility guidelines and have signed up through the Utah Food Bank.
Worship & Music Ministry will be meeting on Sunday, November 23, immediately following worship.
On Sunday, November 30th, following worship, let's Deck the Halls and decorate our Sanctuary for Christmas! Let us all enjoy the fun in trimming the tree.

The Call Committee is pleased to share that Mount Tabor’s Ministry Site Profile has been officially submitted to the ELCA on 20 October. This marks an important step forward in our journey toward finding a pastor whose gifts and calling fit the needs of our congregation. We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated in the Transition Team listening circles and supported this process with prayer and insight. Please continue to keep the Call Committee and the pastor God is preparing for us in your prayers.

Crossroads Urban Center's Thrift Store at 1385 West Indiana Avenue, Salt Lake City needs your donations! Fall is a great time to clear out closets, drawers and other places to help them out. Stop by during their operating hours, no appointment is necessary, Tuesday through Saturday, from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM at 1385 West Indiana Avenue, Salt Lake City. Let them know you are from Mt. Tabor!
