We have hired Maria Torres of Estella’s Extreme Cleaning to clean the two basement bathrooms and all of the main floor. She will be at Mt Tabor every week on Thursday morning. If you see her, say hi. Also, we thank Lee Kreutzer who has been doing the cleaning for the last six months.

"Dinner At Vinnies" service opportunity is Tuesday, June 10th from 4:30-6:30pm at the St Vincent DePaul Dining Hall at the Weigand Center downtown.  Come and share Tabor’s gracious and loving hospitality with our hungry neighbors living on the streets.  We always have room for more volunteers!  Please see Casey White if you have any questions.

OAKS is taking a summer break and will resume on Tuesday, September 16th at noon. We will need a volunteer host for that day. Please let Pastor Christine know if you are willing to fill that role.

Senior Food Box Distribution Our distribution of USDA food boxes to seniors in our neighborhood.continues with our next distribution set for Wednesday, June 18th. Boxes are available for those who meet eligibility  guidelines and have signed up through the Utah Food Bank. 

Ovens in the Main Floor Kitchen Recently, we had a professional test the two ovens in the kitchen on the main floor. Both ovens were found to be overheating (50 to 100°F), and it was found that the ovens are so old that replacement parts are no longer available. We received our value from those ovens, which are believed to have been installed as part of the addition of the narthex in the 1990s, but it is time to replace them. The council is considering their replacement, and will get back to the congregation in future bulletins and Tabor Trumpets.
