"Dinner At Vinnies" service opportunity is Tuesday, September 5th from 4:30-6:30pm at the St Vincent DePaul Dining Hall at the Weigand Center downtown.  Come and share Tabor’s gracious and loving hospitality with our hungry neighbors living on the streets.  We always have room for more volunteers!  Please see Casey White if you have any questions.

Senior Food Box Distribution Our distribution of USDA food boxes to seniors in our neighborhood.continues with our next distribution set for Wednesday, September 17th.  These boxes are available for those who meet eligibility guidelines and have signed up through the Utah Food Bank. 

Worship & Music Ministry will be meeting on Sunday, September 21st immediately following worship.

Come join us on September 21st, right after church for a good ol’ fashion sloppy joe lunch. A free will offering will be taken to benefit our Food Assistance Program and our Emergency Assistance Program. If you have a signature sloppy joe recipe, this is your chance to showcase it. A sign-up sheet will be available for those who would like to bring a pot of sloppy joe mix, a fruit tray, a vegetable tray, potato chips, or hamburger buns. See you there!

New Parking Lot Users The council, with thanks to Bruce Palenske and David Simpson for leading the negotiations, has approved the use of our parking lot by renters in the Unite Student Living building at 129 S 700 E. We agreed that they can use the 12 parking spots on the north side of the lot for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Additionally, we have agreed that they can use 18 more parking slots for overnight parking (9 PM to 9 AM). All parking slots will be signed by Unite’s property management team, Redstone Residential, as to their acceptable use and the consequences of inappropriate use. In return for theparking lot’s use, Redstone will provide a donation of $40 per slot. We do. Not anticipatethat this use will inconvenience Tabor members or interfere with our services.

Small Group Brewing Ministry Dave Warren and Chris Jensen will host a Small Group Brewing Ministry event on Saturday, 4 October 2025. Please join us for a discussion about the brewing process and socializing with other members and allies of Mt. Tabor. We have not yet decided on the particular style to make and are open to suggestions. (Given the time of year, darker beers are more typical.)
