Naming

The phrase "I have called you by name" from Isaiah emphasizes personal recognition and ownership. It conveys a message of God's personal care and relationship. God is with us, and in His presence, there is infinite strength.

Shared Ministry

·   This space is sacred and will remain sacred – holy ground we share with our neighbor in need.

·   Tabor engages with a family in transition for up to 6 months as they live into rental independence.

·   Tabor provides the family a 2 bedroom furnished apartment with a bathroom with shower and a combined kitchen, dining and living room.

·   This ministry is in partnership with Family Promise Utah who manages the rental relationship and provides services to the family on their road to living independently.

Shared Commitment

·   Going forward in this ministry the volunteer commitment to the new ministry is short term.

·   Short term means most new efforts will be organized as one-time projects.

·   A new way of thinking of volunteers for this ministry is to consider inviting friends and family to join a volunteer community named +One.

·   Periodically we will share our gratitude for this +One community by inviting them to share meal with us – as blessing and as we celebrate our joy in the creation of this ministry.

Recognition, Ownership and Strength

Names, logos and mission/vision statements serve as a visual representation and point of identification, conveying core values. They stay with us as memorable symbols we can use to connect as communities of servants, partners, and participants.
