Share your Time and Talents at Tabor! Members are invited to fill out a Time and Talents sheet, and return to the box in the narthex.  Your responses will help us with our volunteer opportunities in our congregation’s life.  Thank you!
 
New member receptions this month, Sunday March 15 and Sunday March 22.  We welcome Aly and Mike Olson-Turek, Michael Kemp, David and Margaret Simpson, and Joe Kolligian.
 
Holden Evening Prayer at 7pm this Wednesday with a Soup supper at 6pm.  Our theme is “We are the Apple of God’s Eye.”  All are invited!
 
Martha Circle Bible Study meets March 12 at 1pm at Tabor. All women are invited!
 
OAKS (older adults knowing strength) meet for lunch March 18th at noon.  All are invited.
 
Council meets Sunday March 15, following worship.

Child Protection Policy meeting after worship Sunday March 29 for all adults who volunteer with children at Mount Tabor.  Hosted by Chris Jensen and Liz Kuhlman.
 
Donation drive for VA Fisher House in Lent:  Fisher House provides hospitality for families of veterans receiving care at the VA Hospital.  We adopted Fisher House as our special ministry initiative this year.  Please see the March newsletter for a list of items we are collecting, and bring them to the narthex through April 12.  Thanks!
 
Tabor Self-Compassion Retreat April 3-5 at a beautiful home in the Summit Park/Jeremy Ranch area on the way to Park City.  The retreat for members of Mount Tabor will begin Friday around 7 p.m. and be done by 11 a.m. on Sunday. During the retreat, we will explore the three doorways of Self-Compassion - mindfulness, kindness and common humanity.  Our exploration will include many different practices, meditations, self-reflections, and conversations.  There is space for up to 12 people on this retreat.  You can reserve a spot by telling Pastor David you would like to attend, and a $25 deposit (to Mt. Tabor) to hold your space.  The rest of the cost of the retreat will be graciously covered by Mt. Church campout Save the Date! Mt Tabor has reserved the Group A tent campsite at the Box Elder Campground near Mantua, Utah for Friday, August 14th through Sunday, August 16th.  More information will be provided as we get closer to the camping weekend.
