Service opportunity at the Utah Food Bank, we will be sorting food on Saturday, April 6. Tabor volunteers sort canned and non-perishable goods at the Utah Food Bank 3150 South 900 West, Salt Lake City.  Contact Casey White for more information at (801) 678-5049.  Rumor has it that Casey sometimes brings donuts!!

“Dinner at Vinny’s” service opportunity is Tuesday, April 9 4:30-6:30pm at the St Vincent DePaul Dining Hall at the Weigan Center downtown.  Come and share Tabor’s gracious and loving hospitality with our hungry neighbors living on the streets.  We always have room for more volunteers!  Clean-up help especially! Utah Food Senior Citizen Food Box distribution at Tabor:  Wednesday April 17 from 1:00pm to 2:30pm we will be distributing food boxes at our church to our local neighbors from the UT Food Bank.  For years Tabor volunteers have helped to sort canned food at the Utah Food Bank main location the first Saturday of every month at 10am.  Now we get to "complete the circle" by becoming a local neighborhood distribution site for that food!

FACE Hunger and Homelessness monthy meeting is led by Bill Tibbetts of Crossroads Urban Center.  You’re invited to come hear and participate in the latest initiatives!  Wednesday April 10 noon at First Unitarian in SLC.
