Wednesday Soup Suppers and Story-sharing

"Lent" is the season of lengthening days, and the approach of springtime.  A time of emerging renewal in the northern hemisphere.

 

For Lent 2024 at Tabor, we will be hearing personal experiences of renewal (any kind!) as part of our Wednesday 7pm Lenten series. 

 

What has been your "valley of the shadow"? 

Was it the end of a relationship?  A loved one's life?  

Was it being asked to leave a work place?  

Was it a physical injury that required more from you than you ever expected to overcome?  

Was it damage to your home, or the loss of your home?  

 

There are so many different obstacles and challenges that come our way as we live this human life.

Can you think of a time, or maybe you're in one right now, that was a big challenge for you? 

What was the source of your renewal?  What was that journey like for you?

 

We share our stories with each other to open the door to hope and encouragement in each other's lives.  We hear how we are not alone, and that when we ask for help, wisdom and guidance comes.  For us, that's the experience of God's grace in the Body of Christ, and in our souls.
