From the Tabor Vision Team:

I am writing to provide an update from our recent Vision Team meeting 4/18.  We compiled comments from the small group meetings we held through March.  In terms of our ministry of place (how we are called to share God’s house) and ministry of people (how we worship God as a community).  Several ideas “floated to the top”. Sharing our building with a non-profit organization that is in line with our mission and ministry at Mt. Tabor as our ministry of Place and the value we put on how we worship as participatory, and music anchored.

On Sunday May 7 before church Lawrence Allred and I will facilitate a discussion of how comfortable people are with sharing our building and what types of groups we might want to invite.  As council members your input is invited and appreciated. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the Vision team.

God's Peace,

Chris Jensen

Vision Team liaison council member
