We are so happy that Family Promise Salt Lake has resumed our interfaith effort this fall to offer emergency shelter and help of all kinds to guests and their children!

Tabor volunteers can serve and clean-up dinner on Tuesday December 6, 6:30pm-7:30pm.  Please see the online volunteer registration process below.  Contact Lee Kreutzer or Pastor David if you have any questions.
Family Promise Salt Lake has now adopted a Static Model, which means that our program houses guests in emergency shelter at two sites (Hilltop United Methodist and Christ United Methodist) for three months at a time at each site. Volunteers from participating congregations go to the guests at those sites. First United Methodist Church is coordinating all Family Promise volunteer positions for the two weeks of December 4 -  December 18 at Hilltop UMC's Hilltop House, located at 985 E 10600 S in Sandy. Detailed information and sign-up opportunities can be accessed at the link below.

Volunteers are required to watch two training videos produced by the national Family Promise program once a year. These videos help new volunteers get acquainted with the Family Promise model of shelter for homeless families and have positive interactions with guests. The videos are available at: https://family-promise.coassemble.com/unlock/KCnpwlHYou can access the videos either by logging in with a Google account or by creating a new account on the site.
