Here's an update from Bill Tibbitts at Crossroads Urban Center regarding Affordable Housing Advocacy

Hunger & Homelessness Weekly Update
Produced by the Coalition of Religious Communities

Dear Mount Tabor,

On Friday I sent out an email about a campaign to convince Utah legislators to invest twenty percent of the $1.6 billion in discretionary funds coming to the state on housing and homelessness. On Saturday I got a video from the director of the Provo City Housing Authority explaining why he supports the campaign which has now been posted on the Crossroads Urban Center Facebook page and Twitter feed.

The money coming to Utah through the American Rescue Plan Act presents a historic opportunity to invest in the one proven solution to homelessness and housing instability-- safe, affordable, homes,

Please take five minutes to reach out to your individual legislators and tell them that you support the 20 Percent for Housing Campaign and hope they will support major investments in housing affordability during the special session on Wednesday.
