Hello, children of God!

I hope this message finds you all well. I want to invite you to do something potentially life-changing with me in July.

I am working with a project called Utahn Conversations on Anti-Blackness, a gathering of individuals committed to co-designing lasting change in our community. I am one of many volunteers who have committed to facilitate a series of three conversations with our communities centering on gaining an empathetic understanding of anti-blackness and developing ways to collectively and individually work to end anti-blackness in Utah. I would like you, members of the Mount Tabor community, to share in these conversations with me.

Here is an overview of what these conversations will look like:

These conversations will require us all to be vulnerable, uncomfortable, and willing to make changes in our lives. In order to create a safe place for these conversations to occur, the group will be limited to no more than 12 members (though if more folks are interested, I will be happy to create another group). Members must be at least 18 years old and be able to commit to attending all three conversations.

If you would like to join in on these conversations, please fill out this interest form. I will then send an email to the group to plan out how and when we will meet during July.

If you have questions, please email me!

I'm looking forward to doing this work with you all!
