Mt. Tabor has been such an important part of our lives!  Heaven only knows where we will find such good folks, interesting programs, friends, and truly the spirit of Christ working within this church, this community, these people.  We thought we'd have time for good-byes, but - we ran out of time.
Within four weeks, we sold our house, had to sort, donate, pack - lots of that - and get ready to turn our home over to the new buyers.  It was very challenging - but we made it.  As usual, I was ready to toss Lew's things....and he was wondering why I didn't get rid of more of mine.  We sent LOTS of things to MOSAIC, LOTS of things to DI. LOTS of things to Habitat's Restore.  They actually called Lew a few hours after their truck came here to pick up LOTS of things Lew had in the garage.  The stuff was being grabbed right off the truck!  Glad to help!

Anyway - we headed to Boston on the 16th, by way of CA, so we could see our son.  As I write this, we are meandering up the CA coast, going to spend two days at St. Orr's, a place we discovered in the 70's.  That sure makes us sound...old!

We do expect to be coming back occasionally.  Lew loves to ski!  But it will never be the same.  Right now, we do not know where we will settle, just so we're closer to Blythe.  Lew likes to joke that we are now "homeless".  It would be wonderful if we could find another church home like Mt. Tabor....but that's not likely.  We will miss our church family so very much.
