Why move to online giving?

Now has been a great time in this pause to evaluate how things are working, what is going well and what things needs to be changed? That can be difficult for anyone, but it’s particularly challenging for a church leadership and pastor whose mission is to serve others.

A deliberate pause can also help a church evaluate the positives and negatives of missions, programs and technologies. Mount Tabor has  identified several administrative streamlining and time-saving opportunities. And with new Vanco eGiving profiles, Mount Tabor members can go in, view and change their eGiving methods (credit card and eCheck) and  can donate on their terms—even when they’re on vacation or away from church or are a former member or visitor.

Through your contributions, we’re able to share the message of our faith to our congregation and the larger community, giving people the strength and compassion needed to make it through difficult times such as these.  Your gift to Mount Tabor enriches the reach of our ministries and our community.

We’ve moved our ministry online and added our eGiving service, through our Simply Giving* provider Vanco.  We are now providing tools to make giving simple even when you’re unable to attend church. eGiving is safe and secure, and it allows you to designate your contribution to the church general operating funds as well as those Tabor community ministries you’re most passionate about.

eGiving lets you set up recurring and one-time online giving through the church website using a credit card or eCheck through your bank.

We have listed the eGiving options you may give to separately or in combination. Contact the church office at 801-328-0521 or email us with any eGiving questions, so we can give you more information or help you get set up. Thank you again for supporting Mount Tabor and the community we’ve all worked so hard to nurture.

Blessings,

Pastor David
