The Adult class originally established by Barry Saunders called “Living the Questions” resumed their sessions in October. The class is facilitated by John Carey and currently 
is viewing and discussing the video series, the Living the Questions: Invitation to Journey, just as relevant and timely now as in 2009-2010. The class starts at 9:15 and All are welcome.

Martha Circle Bible study meets on Thursday, December 12th at Noon at the home of Jean Stephenson.. 

OAKS (Older Adults Knowing Strength) meet for a catered lunch and informal conversation  Wednesday, December 18th at noon.  Please RSVP to Brenda in the office if you can come.  
 
We receive communion in the season of Advent, at the altar rail.  Those who are able are invited to kneel.  Advent is the season of penance and preparation for the coming Light of the World.
 
Tabor Stewardship Team (Bruce Palenske, Mallory deForest, Stephanie Wilson and Pr. David) sends out a heartfelt Thank You to everyone who was able to participate in our Commitment Sunday.  Your amazing generosity in 2020 will help us balance our “neighbor care” at the VA Fisher House with “Tabor care” through our retreats together in the coming year. Youth and Family are planning an adventure to Evermore Park December 2nd. This is where our very own Mallory works! Gates open at 5pm, but we are meeting first at Shayna’s house between 4:30-5:00 pm for a potluck and to ride share. Mount Tabor will pay for youth tickets and half paid for adults. Adult ticket are $30. This is for everyone of every age, so come dressed warm and have fun.  Shayna Wyasket address is 11199 S. Advent Evening Prayer is Weds Dec. 4, 11, 18 at 7pm. Come and prepare with us for the birth of Christ.  Guest speakers will share their experiences of “Unexpected Hospitality.” Invite your friends!  Please sign up at the kitchen counter if you would be willing to help with refreshments on one of those nights. Santa Lucia celebration is December 8th following worship! She is the patron saint of all who are generous.  We celebrate all of God’s blessings that make such amazing generosity possible in and through Mount Tabor! If you can bring a plate of Christmas cookies to share, please let Leslie Carey know. We need volunteers on Saturday, the 7th at 9 AM to help make lefse and krumkake.  Would love to see you there! 
 
WOW! This is what LOVE looks Like!  One of the gift suggestions on the Operation Christmas Child website is to include a “WOW” gift, such as a soccer ball, stuffed animal or clothing. Your generosity is off the charts this year. We sent off 33 boxes, which is more than ever before. Please continue to pray for the children who receive these gifts as a sign of God’s love for them. Tabor’s Solar Energy: Our carbon off-set for October was 1,085 lbs (the equivalent of 13 Trees).  In 2018 our 23 solar panels produced 7.94 MWh!
