Coalition of Religious Communities (CORC) at Crossroads, meets at noon this Wednesday Nov. 6 at Mount Tabor.  You are invited!  Please come and learn how the State Legislature is considering bills that will negatively impact low income residents of our state, and how your voice can make a difference.
 
Crossroads Diaper Drive:  We collected 2281 diapers and 18 packages of wipes for the October diaper drive. Thank you for your generosity!!
 
Operation Christmas Child   It’s that time of year again. Preprinted shoeboxes are available in the narthex along with a list of gift suggestions. Look up Operation Christmas Child online for much more information. Feel free to pick up a box and return it by Nov. 17, along with a $9.00 donation for shipping. Fill a box to bless a girl or boy ages 2-4, 5-9 or 10-14. More info to come each Sunday in October and in the newsletter. Contact Jean Stephenson with any questions.

Stewardship Commitment Sunday is November 24.  Please prayerfully consider what you might contribute financially to the mission and ministry of our congregation in 2020.  Look for a second stewardship mailing in mid-November containing your 2020 Statement of Intent.
 
Tabor's Faith, Ethics, and Science Roundtable at the University of Utah meets Monday, November 25, from 11:30am to 1pm in the conference room at the Research Building on the campus.  Parking is available in the structure just northeast of the building.  All are invited!
 
Thanksgiving Eve Service and Pie Social at Mount Tabor on Weds. November 27 at 7pm.  Please bring a pie to share for the social afterwards!  Pr. Reba Kiger-Kolasch will be our guest speaker.

Tabor’s Solar Energy: Our carbon off-set for October was 1,085 lbs (the equivalent of 13 Trees).  In 2018 our 23 solar panels produced 7.94 MWh!
